Tooth Extraction (Dentoalveolar)

Tooth Extraction (Dentoalveolar)

Tooth extraction can be necessary for a number of reasons. The most common reasons for extracting a tooth include dental decay, gum disease, trauma to the tooth and surrounding bone or as a part of orthodontic (braces) therapy. One or multiple teeth may require extraction and your surgeon will make sure you are completely comfortable during your procedure and will work with your dentist to make sure you have an individualized plan to replace your teeth after your surgery.
